HOME STYLE

I love this big white floral candle (hence probably why I went a bit crazy with the photos!) infact I am not sure I will ever be able to light it! I may just keep it as decorative. Its a lovely statement piece I would definitely be sad to burn!

This little trinket box was also a unique find, I was immediately drawn to its unusual design. It has a slight Moroccan feel with a modern edge. The mirroring in the lid helps keep the contents enclosed hidden and just adds to that perfect touch of beautifulness. I haven't permanently decided what to hold in it but for now its been storing some of my jewellery but I am sure it will be perfect for any bedside/table contents.

Lets Shop!

Zara: leather panel top, yellow cotton tweed dress; Louison Paris cosmetics bag
The colour and leather panelling of this top is ideal for the smart or casual look - and this yellow tweed dress is perfect for Spring/Summer (they also have it in pink). I also saw these 'Louison Paris' cosmetic bags in Selfridges the colours and detail are so beautiful!

Zara: Green quilted jacket
Loving this green quilted coat, I actually saw it on someone a while ago and really liked it. I was prepared to buy it however when walking through Zara I glimpsed over at the sales section and was surprised to see a bunch of winter coats - I then walked closer thinking, hmm wonder if they have that green one... surprise surprise there it was, on sale and I couldn't help but smile :)

Black and white strap heels with gold studs
Saw these shoes the other week and couldn't decide on them so walked away - ever since, I have not been able to get them out of my head!!

I don't think I would really wear them but don't know what it is about them

I can just picture wearing them outside some café in Paris in the sunshine sipping on coffee :)
Andrew said, 'and when have you ever done that?!'.
He is right, we have been to Paris once and I loved it but it was pouring down with rain and wouldn't stop. Not quite the picture I had.

But us women picture these things when we see shoes, right? Or is it just me! And usually his first question when I buy something (apart from that its nice) is, where would you wear that?
Urgh! I hate that question. Us women don't think like that. We see something we like. We want it!

Anyway, I have bought a few shoes recently so I should stop being so greedy.

I think its just this London weather, its been SO SO cold, strong winds, rain, sleet, snow, sunshine all in the space of one week... four seasons in one week may sound like fun but its horrible!!

Spring hasn't even arrived and doesn't look like its ready to - these shoes almost bring some glimmer of hope that Spring is just round the corner :)

This was the other morning. It didn't last long!

A beautiful day in London

Happy weather wherever you are!

Oh...oh sometimes, I get a good feeling ;)

You know the feeling when you found something you really like and you got it for way less than it originally was (*inserts big smile)

Sometimes its an even better feeling than buying something you really like for full price.

I am not actually one to usually bother with sales racks in stores. I just find it a bit of a mess / tug of war and I guess a part of me feels it will just be a lot of rubbish.

But I have to admit - it is worth it when you find that little gem.

I came across this top in Zara on Monday and immediately fell in love with the detailing, it actually looked a bit big on the hanger but its a small and fits well; breathable and loose in areas, perfect for Spring/Summer.

Happiness and warm feeling kicks in :)

The top has gold detailing studs down the front meeting at a little lace bit in the middle and the lace actually continues all across the back.

I think I will be wearing this quite a bit when the sunshine kicks in :)

I found this necklace the same day and thought the pair would go perfect together - what do you know ;)

So now I think I am a sales fan! I think thats the other reason with sales, if you wait, the risk that the item you liked may not be there, or is but not in your size... is it worth that wait?

Actually the sales here aren't as good as what I have seen in the states, where I would happily scan the sales racks because they have good deals like 70%+ off, whereas here on the majority of things I think you are sometimes lucky to get 30% off... but maybe thats just me, maybe my sales shopping is just a bit inexperienced! :)
